Life insurance is something families rely on at their most difficult moments. Information about it should not be locked behind a barrier. We treat accessibility as part of building the site, not a checkbox at the end.
02The Standard We Build To
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines are the benchmark referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act and by state accessibility laws.
Measures we have taken include:
- Semantic HTML structure with a logical heading order on every page;
- A skip-to-content link so keyboard users can bypass navigation;
- Visible focus indicators on every interactive element;
- Form fields with programmatically associated labels, not placeholder-only labels;
- Navigation, menus, and tabbed content operable by keyboard alone;
- Text and background colors chosen for contrast against our dark palette;
- Respect for the
prefers-reduced-motionsetting, which disables animation for visitors who ask their system to reduce it; - Decorative graphics hidden from assistive technology, and meaningful ones labeled;
- Layouts that reflow to narrow screens and to 200% zoom without loss of content.
03Known Limitations
Accessibility is ongoing work, and we would rather name gaps than pretend they do not exist. Areas we are actively reviewing:
- Third-party content, including carrier application portals we link to, is outside our control and may not meet the same standard. Tell us if you hit a barrier there and we will complete the process with you directly by phone.
- Documents supplied by carriers, such as PDF illustrations and policy contracts, may not be fully tagged for screen readers. We will provide the content in an accessible format on request.
04If the Site Does Not Work for You
You never have to use this website to work with us. Every quote, application, and enrollment can be completed by phone with a licensed agent, at no additional cost and with no difference in the products or pricing available to you.

On request, we provide information in alternative formats, including large print, accessible electronic documents, and reading assistance over the phone. We also work with relay services and interpreters.
