01Licensing
Ryker Financial, LLC is an independent insurance agency licensed to transact life insurance in all 50 states.
Each agent who contacts you is individually licensed in the state where you reside. You may verify any producer's license through your state's department of insurance or through the National Insurance Producer Registry at nipr.com.
Ryker Financial is not an insurance carrier. We do not underwrite risk, issue policies, or pay claims. Policies are issued by the insurance company that approves your application, and that company is solely responsible for its own contractual obligations.
02Product and Availability Disclosures
Product availability, features, riders, underwriting standards, and premium rates vary by state, by carrier, and by applicant, and are subject to change without notice. Not every product described on this site is available in every state, and not every applicant qualifies for every product.
All coverage is subject to the terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions of the policy actually issued. The policy contract controls. If anything on this site conflicts with an issued policy, the policy governs.
No coverage is bound through this site. Coverage begins only when a carrier approves a completed application, issues a policy, and the required premium is paid.
03Guarantees and Illustrations
Guarantees are backed solely by the claims-paying ability and financial strength of the issuing insurance carrier. They are not backed by Ryker Financial, and they are not insured or guaranteed by any federal or state agency, bank, or credit union.
Carrier financial strength ratings are the opinions of independent rating agencies. They are not warranties of a carrier's ability to meet its obligations and may change.
Any policy illustration you receive is hypothetical. Non-guaranteed elements — including credited interest rates, index performance, dividends, and cost-of-insurance charges — are not guaranteed, will change over time, and may be higher or lower than illustrated. Past performance does not predict future results.
Indexed Universal Life Specifically
Indexed universal life is a life insurance contract, not an investment or a security. You are not investing directly in any index, market, or fund, and you do not receive dividends from index constituents. Interest credits are limited by caps, participation rates, and spreads the carrier may change. Policy charges reduce value, and poor performance, insufficient premium, or rising charges can cause a policy to lapse — which may have tax consequences.
04How We Are Paid
Ryker Financial and its agents are compensated by the insurance carrier through commissions when a policy is issued, and sometimes through renewal commissions, bonuses, or production-based incentives. You do not pay us a separate fee for our services.
Commission rates vary by carrier and by product, which means we may earn more on some products than on others. We are contracted with a broad set of carriers specifically so that our recommendation is not constrained to one company's shelf. If you want to know how we are compensated on a specific recommendation, ask your agent — we will tell you.
05Agent Income Disclosure
Statements on this site about commissions, earnings, promotion, or agent outcomes describe results some agents have achieved. They are not a guarantee, projection, or promise of what you will earn.
Insurance sales is commission-based work. Income varies widely and depends on licensing, effort, market, skill, and persistence. Many agents earn little or no income, and some leave the business. Any testimonial reflects one person's experience and is not representative of all agents.
